Editing footage in a language you can't understand? The Transcriber Translator app will batch transcribe your audio to SRT caption files in over 100 languages. It then translates those caption files into English (or any other language you choose), so you can drop those translated SRT files back over your footage and get cutting.
As big-tech AI models improve, so does our app. You benefit immediately from the latest advancements without waiting for Adobe, Avid or Blackmagic to update their native features once or twice a year.
This tool functions as a bridge to third-party AI services. Please note the following before use:
We offer three types of licenses. The single-user license is ideal for freelancers who want to use the software on one or two computers. This license is tied to a single account. For companies, we offer a team license, which is bound to the company. The number of licenses can be chosen upon purchase, with a minimum of three licenses. We also offer an enterprise option. Please contact our sales team for more information. All licenses are perpetual.

The ElevenLabs API is orders of magnitude cheaper. For example, the free tier provides 12 minutes of transcription via the website, but 2.5 hours via the API.
TT requires macOS 13+. There is a 1GB file limit for ElevenLabs uploads (use MP3s for very long files). If a translation fails, you can simply retry the specific SRT without re-transcribing.
Right-click a file in the queue, choose 'Edit Languages', click the + icon, and type your target language. Since it uses Claude/Gemini, results for obscure languages may vary.
